Juliet Julius has watched her daughter, Kenna, grow into a fierce young
woman. She has protected her. She has guarded her. She has sacrificed
all she had to give. And she tried her hardest to keep her from the
Dark.
But now it's Juliet’s turn.
Her social life is no longer on hold.
Juliet can shimmy her hips whenever she wants.
Her social life is no longer on hold.
Juliet can shimmy her hips whenever she wants.
But it’s too bad those hips attract so much attention. Juliet might
just have a sinister problem of her own. In the form of one hell of an
alpha male who wants nothing more than to destroy her…and to sensually
devour her body.

~ REVIEW ~
5 STARS
So reading part one of blood tree, I was hoping for the characters I wished to have their own story and I'm glad they did.
So, in Julie's story, Kenna's mother. Scarlett told Julie's history. Why she became an outsider and who the father of Kenna was. Truth be told, I had a sort of inkling who Julie might end up with and I was so freaking wrong about the sort of love triangle happening in part one. I kind of thought it would be like the Cold Mark Saga and I'm so glad it wasn't.
There's only like one or two secrets left but the story was very direct. I'm glad for it because I need a time out from reading stories with those twist and turns.
Although I do kind of find it sad, that they lost years together. I also loved the sense of humor especially of Julie's.
Also, reading this, I understood the conversation between Randor and Julius in part one wherein Kenna answered the mating call of Julius.
I hope there's another one. I'm especially looking forward to reading Susan's story.
I received an arc from the author in exchange for an honest review.
