I was so excited when I learned that the second book would be Mat and Jeanne's story. From book 1, What If It's Love, Mat has been crushing on Jeanne since like forever but Jeanne never gave him the time of the day because he looks like a nerd plus she was still in a relationship that time.

Well, a few years later Mat came back and the instant he saw Jeanne his feelings for her (ahem, more like lust) came flashing back at the same time Jeanne felt flustered since Mat changed and she didn't recognize him. And then that's the start of their story.

This was different kind of romance because the relationship between Mat and Jeanne progressed over a year later. Even though sparks fly between them, they needed to keep it under control because Mat's in a relationship. They both tempt each other so much that they almost crossed the boundaries but luckily Jeanne managed to break the spell around them that time. Jeanne totally got my respect because she values herself and she doesn't want to be that type of woman especially after her last relationship. Jeanne also has a strong character and a sense of righteousness. I kind of hated Mat since he doesn't know what to prioritize in his life and kind of broke Jeanne's heart. At the same time I wanted to knock Jeanne's head when she realized her feelings for Mat too late. It's like Lena and Rob's story in a way but they never realized what they are looking for is right in front of them. I agree with that part about being hypocrite when it comes to comments about their looks.

But at the same time, I find it so sweet what Mat did in the ending for Jeanne. It took the ending for them to get their HEA.

I am an avid reader of chick lit, romance and fantasy, caffeine addict and a badge-wearing Mr. Darcy/Colin Firth fan.

I released my first book at the age of six. It had six postcard-size pages stitched together and bound in velvet paper. The book was titled "Eliza and Robert" and had atrocious mistakes in every single word. Some words were written in mirror image. Unintentionally. I remember being immensely proud of my creation.

Turns out there's a remarkable constancy to my life: decades later, I still love the name Robert and the genre romance. As for my spelling and grammar, they are only marginally better than at age six (thank God for editors!).

I live and work in Paris, France. When not writing, I read romance (what else?) and spend time with my family.
